Da Salvatore in Burgau

We have enjoyed being in the restaurant for a long time and have been picking up food from time to time since Corona. We were always satisfied, the dishes are not always the same, but a good sign for us. Pickup works great.

The absolutely coolest (and biggest) pizza in town. The view from the terrace is a dream! And the fact that almost only Italians work there makes the flair perfect. If I could, I would even give it 6 stars!

We had reserved a table for 6 people. 6-7 tables were occupied in the restaurant, a few tables in front of the restaurant. 3-4 service staff in the restaurant, at least 3 staff in the kitchen. After waiting for over an hour, 3 meals were finally served. When asked several times what about the rest of the food, they just said the pizzas would be ready soon. After a total of 90 minutes of waiting, the three ordered pizzas finally came, which were completely covered with cheese with a soggy base. The service staff runs through the entire restaurant with the food and does not know at which table the dishes actually belong. Mouth and nose protection for staff are occasionally just a chin guard. Conclusion: disaster! Never again !!!

Pizza as always very tasty. Unfortunately, the waitress at the table next to the door didn't see us waving to her. But then the boss was very nice.

The food is one thing ... it was very good. Have been there so often now, but we will look for another Italian. Service very chaotic and those sayings from the boss that we unfortunately had to hear several times ...... long wait for food and as I said the saying ... you have to drink more ... something like that can't be.

Service has deteriorated significantly, the drinks are often simply forgotten, rude wait staff. Food is quite good.

There were waiters with mouth and nose protection, waiters with face masks and some without any face covering. When I asked one of them he said that this was no longer mandatory !!!!! Drinks had to be ordered several times before they came. We asked three times for the dessert menu. Unfortunately we did not receive it. The food took a long time but was ok.

The food is delicious. The service unfortunately not very good.

So, first of all: we hadn't made a reservation, we were offered a seat outside anyway ... so good. After a good quarter of an hour one of the waiters came to take the order. We ordered our food and after another three quarters of an hour our starter and our son's main course were delivered. After half an hour in the cold waiting, we were informed that our food was IN WORK. The waiter said it was very busy and they were having trouble keeping up. After us came 3 larger groups who all had to sit outside, but were offered a place inside after a short time because it was too cold outside. We were still sitting (now in the dark) and had no food yet. After another quarter of an hour when we were frozen through, they came with our food, which we were kindly allowed to take with us to pack because we didn't feel like eating anymore. At home we also found that one dish was actually wrong. So no one will ever get me there again! We were more than angry because we just wanted to have a nice evening. There was a slight plus when the waiter gave us a couple of blankets after our tip so we didn't have to freeze too much. My son (4 years) warmed up briefly on the toilet. If you don't know anyone there, you will be treated like dirt. It's a shame that you have to award at least one star, unfortunately it wasn't even the value.

For my taste the best Italian around. Big portions and friendly service. I can only recommend it.

Was recommended to us and I have to say the pizzas are delicious and also nice and big for the price. The staff is friendly and always has a little joke ready, the restaurant makes a very good, cozy impression. We felt very much at home straight away. The next visit is already planned, see you next time :)

The food is upscale here, the price-performance ratio is right, it tastes excellent. Basically you could give 5 stars here. Unfortunately, the service here is always very bad. One is ignored, the individual processes (allocation of seats, ordering and service at the table) must always be requested. It usually takes 45 minutes to get a seat and a drink. The food also comes only after a long waiting time, often not all people at a table are served at the same time.

We don't go often, but when we go to Salvatore's it is always a pleasure. Depending on the number of people, you wait a little longer for the food, but it is warm and just right, so the main course after the starter, etc. Recommendations for wine were always appropriate. Staff friendly and hard-working. The only thing that might bother some is the price, but in my opinion it is okay for value for money

Good Italian cuisine. All visits were very satisfactory. Service and friendliness always top. All in all very recommendable.

Good food but worst possible terrible service. Unfriendly, slow, zero customer service. The owner needs to employ new people. I will never be back.

Food comes in 1.5h, they not notice about it before order. Then ask why so long, from waitress answer, looks like its my foult becouse many people there?? hire more stuff genius! I Eat scampi, spaghetti was delicious, shrimps was really overcook.

Super Italian restaurant, wonderful decor, great building, very authentic friendly staff who are on the ball. Now for eating, really great plates with high quality products. Great taste! Prices are fine, not too over the top.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Delicious Italian cuisine with great detail to the traditional taste. Prices above average but worth it. A star less for the very long time waiting to order or pay. We had to ask 3 times for the bill until Salvatore came. Still I highly recommend it.

Very good Italian food available here. Staff can speak English and they have English menu too. You can differentiate between veg and non veg food. Very good options of sea food also available. And as usual very good pizza and pasta.

Excellent food, lovely place, a very enjoyable few hours over lunch with a beer or two. Looking out on the lovely market square.

Very good restaurant, friendly staff, real Italian food, but you MUST make a reservation if you don't want to wait an hour before being seated, like we did.

The best restaurant of Italian cuisine in the region! Very wide menu and refined giving of dishes. The price are very adequate and also taste of dishes - it is excellent. Not in vain to get to restaurant very difficult - it is necessary to reserve a place in advance, but we were lucky and always there was a vacant table for us...
